Second stop on the New England tour was Vermont! Early October was perfect to see the foliage.
-
First stop was the King Arthur Flour Store and Bakery in Norwich. The store had everything! I would go broke if I lived near by.
-
-
I had a vanilla cupcake and chocolate covered macaroon at the cafe.

Second stop was a stop at Cold Hollow Cider Mill in Waterbury. This is also where the Cabot cheese and Lake Champlain Chocolate factory stores are.
-
-
Next up was The Ben & Jerry’s factory! Every man, woman and child’s dream come true! Look at those silos full of cream and sugar! It was $3 per person for a short tour and super fun to watch them make the ice cream (no photos permitted in that area I’m afraid).

We made our way to downtown Burlington after and they have a street named Cherry Garcia! How cute.
-
-
Beautiful Lake Champlain. Scotland has the Lochness Monster and Lake Champlain has Champ.
-
Just my luck that My Little Cupcake opened up in Burlington the week I was in New England!

They specialize in mini cupcakes! I love mini cupcakes because I can taste more flavors. I enjoyed my box of six a lot.
-
-
Mexican Chocolate, Orange & Chocolate and S’mores.
-
-
-
Salted Caramel, Birthday Cake and Walnut

We really enjoyed Vermont. It’s definitely a place to visit if you want to see some of the best New England has to offer. Make sure to read about cupcakes in New Hampshire, Maine, Boston, DC and Orlando.

Looks like super area to explore although I fear I may never emerge from the Ben & Jerry’s factory if they let me in there….!
